On the phone with her right now and she reports to me that her roommate for reasons unknown to her has shut down the internet connection. She has no access to a library for internet service because no vehilce, she also cannot get to any stores, shelters or hospitals. She is concerned that her roommate is going to put her on the street on the first.

She wanted me to let you all know that she's still alive, but cannot connect to anyone due to lack of internet.

Whoever has her number, please call her as she's having difficulty getting through to folks.

So I made a post in RG's "Spectators Only" Group a few days ago linking to a blog entry a local TWUE DOM wrote. The entire post was a train wreck, but the comments section was just HI-LAR-I-OUS. The deluge of comments about the guys over all attitude inspired him to dirty delete the original post.

Today I got an email from the care takers (my very first one) saying that there have been complaints about my post and that they had to remove the link (which was a dead link anyway so WHY BOTHER? They can track me down to email me about deleting a DEAD LINK in a post, but cannot be arsed to deal with actual problems because clearly my linking to a now dead post is more important.

For those not in the know, I'm stranded in Texas and escaping via a one-way flight out of here. This was originally supposed to be a gift from my family to travel cross-country, stop in a bunch of cities, and check out whether or not those were places I wanted to live.

Once I got to my first stop (Austin), however, my family decided that they want me to stay here and not continue on to anywhere else. My family is from Texas and want me out of California forever. I received a message from my father telling me that now I need to "put all that transsexual stuff behind me" and "start acting like a woman" again.

The most recent messages were "You need to start dressing conservatively now," and "Don't worry, there are other masculine-appearing WOMEN out there." I am literally nauseous. God get me the fuck away from them and this horrible place!

This was NOT part of the agenda for this trip whatsoever, and considering that it has been funded by my father, it's extremely creepy and makes my skin crawl.

I have the money for my plane ticket and a place to live temporarily in the Bay Area once I get there, but no money to pay for that, hence the Paypal thing.

Again, my deepest gratitude to all of you. Thank you all so much for helping me return home.

Right, so how long has Baku been deleting comments, threads, and so on? When I was clearing out my writing the other day, I saw he was suppressing things from K&P if they contained anything he determined to be 'drama' (the new word for 'calling Baku out on his shit,' apparently), but now peoples' emails are being deleted without their permission?

Posts are apparently being deleted all over the place, too.

Does he seriously think that's going to be an effective means of damage control?

Besides, if the police get involved with this business with the child, then obviously just deleting that shit isn't really going to be effective, is it?

I'm just baffled. How is he able to manage to do anything at all, if he's this lacking in common sense? We'll ignore his lack of personal morality, ethics, or character.

I'm seriously wondering if Fetlife really isn't a case of a predator who couldn't play in anybody else's sandbox because of their bad behaviour, so created his own little demesne.

I have worked tiredlessly in the background for the last three days on the subject that i have been barfing into your feeds.

I was asked earlier "why"? Why get involved? Why make it my problem? Why draw attention to this site?

Because i am a mandatory reporter. My responsibility does not end at 5 or Friday or legal holidays or the courthouse doors or the county line, or the state line. It doesn't stop because it is not in my backyard, or because it hasn't been assigned to me by the courts. It doesn't stop when i am doing adult things. It doesn't stop when friends real or perceived get a little uncomfy. It doesn't stop. Ever.

When I took that oath, when I signed my life over for scrutiny to become qualified to defend the defenseless, I didn't put exceptions on the responsibility I was willing to take and you know what, they didn't offer options. It is an all or nothing responsibility.

If you think the tenacity you have witnessed for the last several years on this site is just part of an imaginary online persona you are mistaken.

If you feel you or anybody connected to you is in jeopardy by what I have done, by all means do what you need to do. I will miss you. I will think nothing bad of you. People need to do what they have to do in order to be comfortable in their life and their world. I respect the hell out of those needs. I also respect the hell out of myself. A respect i would lose if i backed down from doing what is right. I also expect a lot out of myself.

For all those people that walk or even run by damaged people with the express belief that 'somebody' will come along and fix it, GUESS WHAT? Those videos were up for NINE GODDAMNED, DISGUSTING, HOURS and NOBODY stepped in to protect the child. Nobody.

Most of the posters laughed and thanked the red head and high fived John Baku. Some screamed and quoted TOU's and told them to take it down. And they stopped there. Their right. They absolutely had that right. They had exercise their right to log in to fetlife. They exercised their right to go to their friends post or a post of their friends friend. They exercised their right to click on a video.

Things went terribly wrong after that. Some believed they had the right to verbally assault a child. Some believed they had a right to threaten the child with rape and murder. They did not exercise their right to help the child. I didn't feel i had that right. After nine hours of disgusting and vile threats being left on that child's video by the members of this community NOBODY HAD EXERCISED THEIR RIGHT TO STOP AND HELP THE CHILD.

A child and his family are suffering because of people on this site. A lot of people. Even one was one too many. If you have a problem with what I have done. Then, you do indeed 'have a problem'.

Once the family and the police tell me they no longer need me, I will be able to sleep at night with a clear conscious.

Speaking of sleeping at night, there are A LOT of people on this site that are losing sleep at night and are forgoing other life commitments to keep the screaming going. Who are correcting the misinformed who are defending these despicable acts. Telling the ones that are screaming "if you don't like it, go", that, indeed, we are not going.

They are fighting and risking themselves to do what they can to make this right. They are doing things onsite and offsite to make this right. The have pushed the pause button on their lives for this cause. Because they did not think they had a right to walk away, either.

And, i thank them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you on behalf of the family. Thank you on behalf of even just that one person who won't have to go through this. Thank you. Every one of you. For doing you. For doing what is right.

There are a lot of them. I am afraid i will forget one so i will leave it at a lot. Allowing for an edit in this space when i can stop long enough to make sure i don't forget any one of them.

So, I am presently checking out a shiny brand-new site called iTaboo.com. I already see some very familiar faces, like impy and Unca Louie. The communities are obviously just starting out, because so far there are NO political groups, and there is a category for them.

I was actually very pleased that they have a "gender neutral" choice in their menu.

Click the heart icon with the plus sign.
Tag the post however you want.
It will add the post to your memories page that you can access on your profile under the "memories" link.
You can access the post anytime by clicking the link corresponding to the memory.

Allow me to make something crystal clear about where I stand. First, if you know me, you have to back up a bit, okay?

I camped in Rants, that's where I hung my hat. I enjoyed myself (mostly daily) there and really never concerned myself with the goings on of Fet, assuming it would work itself out.

A few days ago, I made peace with quietly leaving the site. I made peace with the fact that folks who I held in high esteem (yes, even on the internets) could disagree with me about my issue with Fet and still be people I hold in high esteem. We all have points where we disagree.

I was alerted last night to the 9 yr. old debacle BEFORE Baku made his own video and link. Once again, I trusted that something as putrid as that would be taken down immediately.

Seems it was. Until Baku decided it was cool.

So, to you, my friends who I spent every day with or who I lost touch with but we were still cool??? Let me say this.

If you abide what was done to that child, DIRECTLY due to John's actions ... if you think it's "no big deal" ... if you have anything other than disgust in your heart for this ... please do us both the favor and do not contact me here.

Because as of right now, you will be nothing more to me than he is and will be no better than he is, and I will not associate myself with your ilk.
